Position Summary

Responsible for completing a behavioral health level of care assessment and providing treatment recommendations with community mental health centers and emergency departments for individuals seeking mental health/substance use concerns.

Essential Functions

  1. Participate as part of the telehealth team by completing video intakes and teleED assessments.
  2. Conduct program specific screening and evaluation, and formulate diagnosis in accordance with the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM).
  3. Work with client companies to coordinate and schedule E-Clinician appointments.
  4. Perform high quality clinical assessments with excellent customer service skills. Documentation is written in a proficient and professional manner. Use sound clinical judgment and develops an individualized, comprehensive treatment plan to assist client in establishing necessary mental health services.
  5. Provide training and coaching support to CIC staff who are part of the telehealth team.
  6. Complete regular and ongoing clinical reviews of completed intakes.
  7. Solicit and utilize feedback from front line staff to improve telehealth services.
  8. Demonstrate proficiency in work habits and time management skills. Meet contact center attendance and punctuality standards.
  9. Must work well as part of a team and individually with other employees.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

  1. Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
  2. LCSW or LPC preferred.
  3. Strong clinical skills with crisis intervention experience, including experience in an emergency department.
  4. Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  5. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with good leadership qualities
  6. Working knowledge of the Crisis Intervention Model and the DSM 5.
